We're gearing up to go into Dockside Studio and Balance Recording Studio to record our next album! We're very excited and maybe a little nervous b/c it's been so long since we recorded Just Believe It. Some of the new songs recently written and going on the album are Lighthouse (album title too), The Way that It Goes, Dragonflies, You and Me Baby, Oh New Orleans (all working titles). We're releasing the album April 21 on Threadhead Records. They are, get this, a NONPROFIT label! They help raise the necessary funds to record albums of their favorite New Orleans artists, which the artists pay back including a 10% donation to the New Orleans Musicians' Clinic. They're still raising the required money for us to make our album, so if you want to get involved, please follow this link to our page on their site: Help Fund Susan's new album Lighthouse. 100% of the funds donated/loaned at this link are given to us for producing and releasing our next CD.

Threadhead Records is also releasing March 27 the remixed and remastered Just Believe It. Not like most "remastered" cds where you can't hear a difference from the original, this remix is very different sounding than the original JBI release. More organic, more stripped down, and with less affects overall giving it an Americana sound. The original JBI mix will only be available as download purchase after our remaining CDs are sold--maybe 25 left. Lighthouse, Just Believe It, and Covered in Vinyl Volume 2 will all be distributed Burnside Distribution Company.

And finally, Feb 1st, we'll be going live with our new website as well! We'll have a fanclub that you can join and be privy to unreleased live versions of songs, audio streams of us chatting with y'all, and maybe even some clips of the new songs so y'all can hear 'em before the release date.
